A luxury boutique hotel in central London, the Hotel Indigo London Paddington is owned by London Town Hotels Group. ‘Hotel Indigo’ is one of the Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) brands.

Project: Social Media

The Travel & Tourism sector has changed immensely over the past 5-10 years. Online marketing, social media and mobile optimisation are key areas for this industry.  Hotel Indigo London Paddington realised the importance of Social Media for the its 4 star luxury boutique hotel and rendered the services of Purple Chair to create social media accounts for the hotel and manage them for 1 year.  It was decided that the most relevant social media avenues would be Facebook, Twitter and a Blog, all of which were set up and designed with the Hotel Indigo branding and with the prestigious guest in mind.

Result:

The hotel now manages the social media accounts that had accumulated followers and fans over the year.  They incorporate social media alongside more conventional marketing activities such as email newsletters, online marketing and PR.
