Client: Southern England Regional Council

The Southern England Regional Council (SERC) represents Irish dancing teachers with An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha in the South of England.

Project: Website Design & Production

A website was required by SERC to represent the teachers of the region and also act as a communication channel. It has several login sections for Council Members and the Teachers of the region to allow for correspondence and updates to be done confidentially. It was important that the website also be used to promote the dancing schools in the region and also to inform the dancers of upcoming events.  A Flash map was created to locate dance schools in the region and an updateable calendar for competitions and events.

Result:

A modern, stylish and easy to navigate website with up to date information for dancers in the region and online resources for teachers and Council Members.

“From our first discussions to the final result, Purple Chair understood what we wanted – a clean, uncomplicated, easy-to-use website – then delivered it. The overall design, colours, graphics and text are eye-catching without being intrusive, and the site works on a very practical level too – the programmers translated our need for three separate authorised users' areas without fuss and in a way which is practical and simple to navigate. As a non-profit organisation, we also appreciate the fact that the site came in right on budget!”
